Walking with the Walls

We, the Walls, have decided to homeschool.  We have actually been homeschooling for a couple of years now, but this year the girls are in kindergarten and 1st grade, so we are starting to get to the point where we need to be a bit more structured and consistent with the methods we use.   After two years of trying different things, looking at different curriculums and studying various homeschool methods, I've finally settled on Charlotte Mason.  I am a fan for several reasons, not the least of which is the fact that there is a website that offers a free Charlotte Mason curriculum which uses many free online texts.  Thrilling!  I will be enthusiastically sharing the many other reasons I like Charlotte Mason as I blog through our journey in homeschooling, and as I continue to read and research.  I will also be recording our endeavors and archiving our accomplishments here on the blog.  I hope our stories inspire you, and that in our sharing we will be encouraged to press on.  We invite you to walk with us.
